Associate Attorney
Bio
Raised in Los Angeles and launching his career in criminal law in Seattle, Alexander calls the west coast his home. He graduated with from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in European Studies with a minor in German, which he speaks fluently. Sensing that the law was a suitable field to employ his abilities in writing, expeditious thinking, and advocacy, Alexander attended University of Washington School of Law, graduating in 2022. During his time in law school, Alexander pursued opportunities where he felt he could make a positive impact. He interned at the Moderate Means Program where he assisted in providing legal representation for clients of moderate means, and at Novo Legal group, where he assisted attorneys in providing immigration-related legal services.
After graduating, Alexander became a prosecuting attorney for the Cities of Kirkland, Woodinville, Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunt’s Point, Yarrow Point, Mercer Island, and Newcastle. Here, he realized both the opportunities for a positive impact that lie in a career in restorative justice and the importance of accountability- not only for those accused of a crime, but for law enforcement and the judicial system. Alexander discovered that he did his best work in the courtroom advocating for fair outcomes on behalf of those who desire to have their day in court. Growing to appreciate the zealous advocacy and principled stance toward protecting the individuals’ rights that he saw in defense attorneys, Alexander decided that his greatest opportunity to make a positive impact was on the other side of the coin.
