Renee Lee
Bio
Renee was born and raised in New York, but having lived in Washington for 30+ years considers this home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Geography at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts before moving to Seattle for graduate school at the University of Washington. After earning her Master of Arts degree in Geography at the University of Washington, Renee worked in the insurance industry before discovering that the law would best allow her to make a difference in people’s lives, utilizing her problem solving and advocacy skills while capitalizing on her compassion and desire to help people. Renee graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2000.
During law school, Renee had the privilege of interning with a prominent local attorney assisting individuals in their Worker’s Compensation and Social Security matters. She also had the honor to intern at Columbia Legal Services (now Northwest Justice Project), where she worked on Medicaid legislation and assisted in representing clients in family law cases. After graduating from law school, Renee clerked for Snohomish County Superior Court Judge James Allendoerfer where she gained invaluable insight into the workings of the court and knowledge about courtroom procedure and being a litigator that she continues to draw on to this day.
Renee then moved into the private sector where she spent the next seven years building a broad base of civil litigation experience representing clients in an array of legal areas including family law, business, employment, land use, and traffic infractions. In 2009, Renee realized that she could have the most impact by limiting her practice exclusively to family law matters, while still relying on her knowledge and experience in civil litigation as these issues often cross over into family law cases. She has spent the last 14 years working at some of the best family law firms in the Puget Sound area before deciding to join forces with Guadagno Law, to develop and manage our Family Law Division. Throughout her legal career and especially as a family law practitioner, Renee has felt it is an honor and privilege to assist her clients through what can be one of the worst times in their lives and into the next phase of their lives.
